Here is another piece of Sacramento, one of the few things I have always loved about it. There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of a distant steam engine chugging along at night blowing it's horn by the crossings. I am fortunate to have heard that sound since most trains, if not all, are electric to diesel now, and the horns are digital ones placed at the crossings.
